Alexandre Mattiussi‘s preppy Parisian label AMI has presented its Pre-Fall 2020 collection. The new season captures the bright and bold aesthetic of the 1970s and draws inspiration from David Hockney’s paintings and Peter Schlesinger’s photos, all while keeping in tune with various signature design touches.

Bright colors, rich textures, and motifs synonymous with the brand dominate the Pre-Fall 2020 collection, as stripes, flowers, hearts, and checkered patterns adorn pieces throughout. Standouts include the cable knit De Coeur sweater which is served in a crisp blue hue, as well as the poppy T-shirt and the new selection of Box and Accordéon bags which appear in shades including yellow, green, black and red.
Elsewhere, AMI offers up a selection of minimalistic drawstring trousers that pair perfectly with the range of bonded Mac coats. Rounding out the latest drop is a variety of sneakers, sandals, and moccasins that complement AMI’s signature laid-back style.
